The Vancouver Olympiad School, formerly known as Olympic Educational Center, was established in 2002. At its inception, Olympic Educational Center primarily focused on providing tutoring for high school mathematics and physics. In its inaugural year, it achieved remarkable teaching results, with one student scoring a perfect mark in the Grade 12 math provincial exam and another student achieving outstanding scores of 99 in both Grade 12 math and physics provincial exams. Over the following years, an increasing number of parents brought their children from various locations in Greater Vancouver to Olympic Educational Center, with some even traveling from Surrey, White Rock, Coquitlam, and Victoria to enroll their children for studies.

From 2006 to 2023, Vancouver Olympiad School has produced over 360 students who have achieved perfect scores or championship titles in various math competitions in Canada and North America. The number of high-achieving students is countless. In both 2022 and 2023, two students were selected for the Canadian Math Olympiad national team. In 2022, Warren and Kaixin respectively received gold and silver medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Additionally, Warren received a gold medal in the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO), while Kaixin Wang and Jason Fang received silver medals.
